One of the main characters of Omori, and the biggest spoily spoiler gaming has seen since Undertale’s routes. Please cease reading until you have beat Omori.

Mari was Sunny’s older brother and Hero’s lover. She was not great at flirting but still sweet and loved by her friends. She used to play sports until she got a bad knee. Her influenced was felt on every member of her friend group - she inspired Sunny’s love for music and Basil’s love for photography.

Aubrey in particular looked up to Mari, and when they were older Aubrey wanted to dye her hair pink and Mari to dye her hair purple, just for fun. This inspires many of the game’s color schemes - When we meet Aubrey she sports bright pink hair, and the headspace imaginary versions of Sunny’s friends all have purple hair.

However, despite all that was great about her, Mari’s perfectionism and her practice sessions for playing a recital eventually broke her little brother, resulting in Sunny accidentally pushing her to her doom in an incident which has since been dubbed “Ayo the pizza here”. But her spirit has been shown to be forgiving of Sunny, wanting him to find peace with himself.

Sunny discovering the truth of Mari’s death, which he had repressed, is one of the major elements of the game. Hey, I said there was gonna be spoilers!
Omori Player: “Damn I wonder what would’ve happened if Mari lived.”
Other Omori Player: “This game makes my feelies do wheelies”
Mari: “The thing I hate most about being dead is not being able to pull pranks on Hero.”
Omori Player: …This interaction is definitely not canon.

A character in Omori. Captain of the Space Pirates and ruler of the universe, he finds himself victim to an abusive relationship with Sweetheart, who dumps and later divorces him. He also has banger mixtape which samples Earthbound and Chrono Trigger.

However, that is all in the imagination of Omori character Sunny. In Sunny’s real world, Space Boyfriend is a comic series detailing his many adventures.

Most important of all, Space Boyfriend’s creator, Clover & Sealife, intended him to be a trans man. Meaning Space Boyfriend is a trans icon as a result which is awesome. He also has the coolest boss themes in the game - You were wrong, go back and You cannot go back.
Omori Player: Space Boyfriend is so cool.
Other Omori Player: Space Boyfriend has so much banger music - what’s not to love?
Space Boyfriend: I’m very glad you all appreciate me, but if you excuse me, I must go grab some SNO-CONES with my crew.

Kel is the most uplifting character from the video game Omori. He may not be very bright but he is strong and always supportive. However, his simple attitude towards problems can prevent him from seeing other people’s sides and get him in trouble.

While many Omori fans exagerrate his lack of smarts, everyone can appreciate how he lights up a room. After all, he convinced Sunny to leave his room after 4 years.
Omori Player: “Kel is pretty awesome”.
Omori Player 2: “Hehe he gots burgers on his mind”
Kel: “So you’re gonna say I love burgers but ignore when I literally ate an entire pizza?”
Omori Player 2: “Absolutely”

The main character of the video game Omori.

A shut-in who barely talks following a very traumatic incident, he loves his friends dearly but is often trapped behind the barriers of his own mind. He is anxious, depressed, and suicidal, all of those illnesses shared with his best friend Basil. However, he also is a pizza delivery boy and has fire taste in music. So it can’t be all bad… right?

He had a crush on character Aubrey in his childhood, but also has had a very unusually close relationship with Basil, leading many to speculate he is Bisexual.
Omori Player: I wonder what Sunny is thinking right now.
Omori Player 2: What’s he doing, is he okay?
Sunny: “Be gay do crimes

The best boy.

From the video game Omori, Basil loves flowers and photography, but is very anxious and bullied a lot. He has suffered intense trauma and copes through denial and toxic positivity. However he is also very sweet, and often can be found wearing a flower in his hair.

Noteworthy for making many Omori players turn gay due to his sensitive nature and femboy-like appearance.

Many players also believe he and Sunny will hook up some time due to his and Sunny’s closeness (They are often seen holding hands and in one occasion Basil got Sunny to wear a flower like his) and his continuous defense of Sunny.
Omori Player: “Damn I’m intensely gay for Basil”
Other Omori Player: “Damn I’m intensely straight for Basil”
Basil: I just want to feel real happiness and see Sunny again

The titular character and dream persona of Sunny from the video game Omori, created as a result of Sunny’s depression, suicidal thoughts, isolation, and repression of truth. He lives in WHITE SPACE - A place created by Sunny’s mind to repress and forget, where everything will be okay.

Omori also works as a window in which to view Sunny’s imagination - his Headspace. He goes on many adventures visiting characters from Sunny’s childhood like Space Boyfriend and Sweetheart, but also works to repress Sunny’s knowledge of the truth. Versions of Sunny’s friends appear, but are exagerrated and altered - like Aubrey having intense feelings for Omori, Kel being extremely tempered to argue or fight, or Hero being very trusted and loved by nearly everyone in the game. the Headspace Basil is even removed after his character interferes with Omori’s repressive goals.

By exploring Sunny’s headspace, Omori travels to BLACK SPACE, in which he can twisted retools of Sunny’s life and imagination - such as corrupted versions of places Sunny went to like the beach and the treehouse - often involving the gruesome death of Basil, seen as a threat which could reveal the truth Omori desperately wants to hide. Eventually Omori “ascends” to a throne of red hands and becomes fully independent of Sunny.

Depending on your actions, this can mean Omori assumes control of Sunny’s waking body, or separated, confronted and defeated by Sunny.
Omori Player: Damn I didn’t realize Omori was an imaginary character
Other Omori Player: Damn I didn’t realize Omori was gonna be the final boss
Other Other Omori Player: Damn I didn’t realize there’s an alternate route of the game where Omori completely takes over Sunny’s body.

One of the main characters of the video game Omori and brother of Kel.

Hero is described as universally loved and naturally gifted at anything he puts his mind to. He and Mari were very close, to the point of being described as “a match made in heaven” by Basil. However, following the loss of Mari, he became extremely depressed for almost a year. While he recovered, he gave up his passion of cooking, switched to medical studies, and still feels a great load of distress regarding the incident.

Main character Sunny looks up to Hero quite a great deal - Nearly anything Hero does, even in Sunny’s imagination, Sunny thinks to himself “Wow…”

Fans often depict Hero as violently lashing out after the end of the game following the truth, however this side of him is only mentioned once in the whole game, and it’s said after his violent outburst caused Kel to cry it snapped him out of his depressive state for good.
