Short for middle, Mid is generally a synonymous term with mediocre, in some instances replacing the word “meh.”
1. Average; uncommon; mediocre.
2. Usually referring to some form of media or entertainment, i.e movies; mid-tier.
3. Derogatory for when someone or something is of such quality that it is neither good nor bad, making it less than fair; lackluster.
4. Usually referring to something that isn’t preferable but still on an acceptable level; passable; adequate.
5. Underwhelming; disappointing; a let down.
1. PB&J sandwiches are pretty mid.
2. The new season of that show was just mid.
3. The beats you produce are fucking mid.
4. All they had were plain cheerios, very mid.
5. Damn, I don’t know why they hyped up that new roller coaster so much, it’s not that good. So mid.
