Origin - Social Media jargon in association to private messaging apps, primarily, including but not limited to, Facebook.

1.) Verb - An easter egg planted in messenger by the app developer, whereby, the 'accidental' press of the "thumb's up" (👍) icon on the keyboard submits a ridiculously huge "thumb's up", also known as being thumbusted within the message thread as an embarrassing notification alert that one party of the relative conversation is:

a.) Currently cyber stalking the other party by checking the last time they were online

b.) Currently retracing the history of conversation with anxiety wondering why it is taking the other party so long to respond

c.) Currently actively engaged in behaviors such as the dot watch of the other party, thereby hinting at the perfect opportunity for dot-taunting.

1.) Verb - The conscious act of starting to type then stopping to induce a reaction (typically negative & emotional) from the receiving party;

2.) Verb - The intentional act of intentionally typing, deleting, and re-typing (usually nonsense) and lastly suddenly logging off without sending any message for the sheer satisfaction of knowing that the other person is an avid dot watcher resulting in an unfavorable emotional response in the receiving party, in which their own anxiety/panic level starts rising with each key stroke at the endless possibilities of the unknown;

3.) Verb - that moment when you suddenly realize that you are either being fucked around with by some maniacal bitch who knows that you obsessively dot watching, or that same person sending the message is so pissed off that you are scared to read the book that is being written.
