(Mor-oy) A Moroi is a vampire, a good one, not like Strigoi. A Moroi has magic, and its elemental. Theres fire, water, earth, or air. There is also spirit. Spirit is rare, and you can tell if a Moroi's elemental magic is spirit if they haven't developed after the usual time or after they should have if they were a late bloomer.They are living vampire's, and they drink the blood of humans, aka feeders. They are to be protected by Dhampirs, who are Guardians. Fire Moroi control fire. Water Moroi control water, and so on. Spirit users are rare and unique, and when they use spirit, there are dangerous side effects. Spirit users can: Visit people in their dreams, heal people, create charms that calm or heal people as long as their charming real silver, create disguises, and use compulsion. There are more things that are yet to be discovered by Richelle Mead. ;D! there are also the side effects to spirit. Rage that can make you more mad then you seem. It causes you to do dangerous things. The other elements have no side effects.

Strigoi are not born they're made. Innocent humans, dhampires and moroi are turned into Strigoi by another Strigoi, but some Moroi turn Strigoi by choice. How can one do that? They do that after sucking all the blood out of another human/dhampire/moroi and then basically they're life has ended. They loose their magic, their life and their happiness to becoming hunters of Moroi, to kill all Moroi and drink their blood.
They live for Moroi blood. They'll kill and drink the blood of dhampires and of humans, but it's Moroi blood they crave the most. So each Moroi will be assigned a dhampire when they go out into the world. Royals will receive two to help protect them from the Strigoi.
There are three ways to kill a Strigoi. One way is to stab them in the heart with a stake, another is to set them on fire and the last one is to cut off their throat. Of course, if you don't have a stake, or a knife or any way of getting fire quickly, your best option is to GET THE HELL OUTTA THERE.... meaning, run.

a word for a human looking for a fix or to get high from a vampire's (a Moroi's) bite. Moroi are good. If it's from a Strigoi, you die id they suck out all your blood. If they suck it out and then you drink their blood, you then become a Strigoi. I learned this from Vampire Academy, although I am sure that everything in the series by Richelle Mead is pure fiction, coming from Romanian History/Folklore and stuff. =) Both Moroi and Strigoi *need* blood. ! the feeders get high and feel estatic during and a little bit after the bite.
The feeders were in the small room, sitting on stools, waiting for their next fix. The Moroi were excited to take a drink, for their day had been busy and they needed energy.
