scare cycle

A complete menstrual cycle of a girl you are having sex with. Each cycle you are constantly scared that she is not going to get her period and be pregnant. This is not necessarily a complete month it is any amount of time that you are scared and worried about a girl getting pregnant. When a girl gets her period, the scare cycle is finished.
"Dude I don't know I'm really worried about my girlfriend we are still in a scare cycle cause the condom broke" or "I just finished my scare cycle after that one-night stand I had"

spare cycles

Phrase used by sadistic managers (particularly in IT) to describe any moment of spare time their employee(s) might have.

The implication is that the employee is like an old mainframe computer, and should be put to work for every second of the day or else corporate value is lost.
Boss: "Hey, Bob has some spare cycles, he can do these 29 extra tasks."

Bob: <grunts incoherently and shuffles closer to complete mental breakdown>

Shackteâu

A Shackteau is a humble, weather-beaten, structurally questionable shelter located in a spectacular or highly coveted place—Wales, Jackson Hole, Sun Valley, Crested Butte, coastal Maine, the Alps—where the building itself may be worth almost nothing, but the dirt, view, access, and mythology make it absurdly valuable.
In use:
Shackteâu - We thought it was an abandoned shed until the realtor called it a rare alpine Shackteâu with unobstructed views and listed it for $2 million.
