One who is generally new to facebook or acts noobish on Facebook. This person usually joins numerous random groups and pages, totaling way over 500, frequently coping other facebookers, asks for help in terms of how to use their facebook and many other ways

Facebook noob syndrome
Someone who has recently joined facebook. In addition to having the normal ignorance pertaining to a facebook noob, those with this syndrome are prone to constantly commenting on many posts and also posting pointless things.
It does takes a while for this condition to fade away, but it almost always does as the new users realize that nobody else comments or cares. Some people still have facebook noob syndrome even after years of using the site. In this case, they have terminal noob syndrome.

one who has no experience with facebook and/or still doesn't know how to use the special new features/apps. Noob status does not go away with time, but with experience and honing of knowledge. Remedy; friend a facebook whore (if you can)

Boffin
British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”
Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.
