nerve eating

When you are nervous, especially while learning for a test, eating candy/cookies like your life depends on it.

Mom: Brad, quit the nerve eating while you study, you plundered the whole cupboard in the kitchen for tasty things!
Brad: chomp,chomp, but Mom, i have this big test tomorrow, and i am not sure if i will pass. So I'm having a big nerve eating attack rite nao!
