music wing

The section of a school that contains all of the music rooms. Even if it's not a 'wing', the Music Kids call it that as a term of endearment. Some serious Music Nerds have spent eighteen hours at school-related functions due to this wing. Actually considered a second home by serious band nerds.

"Hey, have you seen -band nerd- lately?"

"I'd check the music wing."

1. The act of an activity involving music. (dancing, singing, etc.)
2. Finding new music or deleting music from your playlist.
3. Sorting though your music.
4. Skipping though radio stations.

Person 1: Hey, what's up?
Person 2: Oh, nothing much. Just musicing.
Person 1: Musicing?

theme musicking 

Playing music in a public place via your iPhone/iPod/etc's built-in speakers rather than through headphones or earbuds, giving the sensation of having theme music or a soundtrack in real life. No fucks are given about whether or not others like your music.

"Do I hear Metallica coming from that girl's phone?"
"She's putting the 'sick' in 'theme musicking'."

Blue Musicing 

Derives from the phrase "Blue Balls". When a person removes another persons headphones, or stops a person midsong just to make sure they can't listen, which causes the person extreme pain and makes them very volatile and angry. Never approach somebody who has been blue musiced as they will tear you a new one.

Person 1: *Removes headphones from music playing device causing blue musicing*
Person 2: *blue musiced and punches person 1*
