this is typically used to exaggerate a response, mainly targeted at the female sex (but could really be used at anyone). Also similar to “miss girl”
person: “... and that’s when I gave them a taste of their own medicine.”
person 2: “periodt miss ma’am”
person: “You are so beautiful.”
person 2: “That’s all you miss ma’am”
person: *screaming*
person 2: “quiet down miss ma’am, damn.”
person 2: “periodt miss ma’am”
