Gnonomus

An unknown (until now) word which is used more in thought than in speech. The word (pronounced sounding the G) is used when someone makes a big thing out of stating something that is already blindingly obvious to everyone present.
You're in the street and a fleet of fire engines speed by with sirens sounding.

Person 1 "A load of fire engines just went past really fast with their sirens on!"

Person 2 (In speach) "Oh really?" (In thought) "That's a bit gnonomus".
