Something or an event that is extremely ridiculous, unbelievable, and crazy. Can be used both as positively or negatively.

Hover-grating

A careless method of grating cheese by holding the block of cheese and grater high above the food, causing it to disperse everywhere but the intended dish.

Characterised by fragments of grated cheese found everywhere around the kitchen afterwards - often accompanied by a larger, dry block of remnant cheese left out for many days after said cheese-grating incident.

Particularly common in Rootes P 2nd kitchen, and generally anywhere inhabited by a German-Italian partnership.

Dude 1: "Awww wtf Jasper, there's cheese everywhere on the table again!"
Jasper: "Sorry dude, Francesco and I made pesto pasta last night and we were hover-grating the cheese over it."
Dude 1: "Aw not again dammit."
Pit: "In Luxembourg..."

Hover-grating is the only way to truly enjoy a German-Italian dish.

gatinha

In Brazilian portuguese it is usually used to refer to a really cute/pretty young girl/woman; it is commonly used by teenagers with an informal register.

"Gata" is also possible in the same context.

A Alessandra é uma gatinha, cara. / A Alessandra é uma gata, cara.

When a well connected, wealthy family sets up an unmotivated, moronic offspring in a powerful job/role/position/etc. in order to save face.

A: How did ______ get hired as the new vice-president?! Last time I saw him/her she was stoned in his/her grandma's basement for weeks on end.

B: Dude, ______ was garfinkeled.

A: Ah, the company's gonna go bankrupt.
