The word for students who study advanced versions of subjects (especially in Asian countries such Vietnam, where the educational system is not team-driven at all), in order to achieve high results in competitions, even though those achievements do little to nothing to contribute to society and the students themselves end up losing a lot of time, effort and other aspects of life like friends and mental health.
