friencé

A boyfriend or girlfriend who is half way to being a fiancé. A semi-proposal which defines the next stage between love and marriage.

The ring is placed on the pinky finger of the right hand.
Proposing during the relationship to show intent to marry but when not in a practical position to propose. None the less the love and affection is there and hence when they propose and the other half says 'yes' then one becomes the friencé of the other.
