When you hear the expression that somebody has 'buttery teeth', it most likely will mean that they have obserdly yellow teeth. You might even hear the term, cheddar teeth. Which is basically the same thing.

An individual who has poor hygiene in regards to their teeth, which causes their teeth to become a light brown color, resembling peanut butter.

Person 1: Hey, did you get with that girl last night?
Person 2: Nah, I told her to take a hike. She had peanut butter teeth.

A homonym that sounds like "but her teeth." To call a woman a "butter teeth" is to say her body and face are very attractive but her teeth are disgusting. It is even more fitting if the problem with her teeth is a yellow hue.
