Common items used in buttering a tenderloaf range from: the natural (butter, olive oil, Crisco, bacon grease, Pam cooking spray), the freaky (Hersey's chocolate syrup, Egg whites, truffle oil), to the downright painful (honey, hot sauce, soapy brillo pad).
