Text Surge 

A term used to describe the moment at which everyone in the known universe sends you a text message. Then, once you finish replying to all of them, you spend about an hour sitting there without getting a single new message from anyone.

Adj - a marker, usually fluorescent, that is moved across text in a 'surfing' fashion, to make important words/phrases stand out. Verb - to textsurf.

Dude - "Hey check me out, I'm surfing this text, using my new textsurfer!"

Replying to a text message so long after receiving it that the conversation is brought back to life.

Text from Danny to Sheila: "can't talk, gtg. we'll textsurrect this tomorrow"

Johnny was at the Lil' Wayne concert and didn't know Sally sent him a text message. When he finally woke up the next afternoon, he textsurrected her message.
