A "pud" is either the male penis or the female clitoris. "Nit" is a contraction of "nitwit." "Pudnit" is a deliberate misspelling of the term "pundit" and is used to denote a "pud" who thinks that they have something intelligent to say when in fact, they can say nothing that is even remotely intelligent.
