When the government passes a law to limit the number pi to a fixed number of digits (or significant figures), should citizens need to officially use the truncated value to correspond with civil servants.
Some interest groups are pushing their politicians to amend the Pigislation Act, by proposing that the value of pi be formally expressed to at least five decimal places.
