Polbot
A person who will repeatedly share political posts on their social media accounts. They will sometimes do this so much that they end up representing a simple-minded, singular-task bot, who's goal would be to repost as much as possible. Usually found on Instagram stories, Facebook, or the retweet feed of Twitter.
Emma, a white, teenage girl that goes to our school, posted 32 Instagram stories in 24 hours about disbanding the police and Black Lives Matter yesterday. She is such a polbot.

Polbait
A form of bait designed specifically for political purposes, extremely common in online political communities. Polbait involves posting inflammatory political content not to persuade or inform but to provoke outrage, entrench division, and energize one's own side at the expense of dialogue. A polbait post might be a deliberately misleading headline, a quote taken out of context, a caricature of opposing views—anything designed to trigger maximum political emotion. The goal is not conversation but mobilization: to make your side angrier, the other side crazier, and the center impossible. Polbait is the engine of polarization, the fuel of culture wars, the reason political discourse is now a combat sport.
Example: "The meme was clearly polbait—a deliberately inflammatory caricature of the opposing party's views, designed to provoke outrage. And it worked: thousands of angry replies, hundreds of furious threads, days of argument. No minds were changed; no understanding was achieved. But engagement soared, and that was the point. Polbait had done its job: polarize, provoke, profit."

Texas is categorized as a swing state in presidential elections, but has voted for Republicans more times than for Democrats in recent history. As such, as demographics change political alignments, some Democrats believe that Texas will vote blue, or Democratic, due to their Hispanic and African American voters, who often align themselves with the Democratic Party's liberal wing.

Brought to public attention by Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein in the book on the fall of Richard Nixon, All The President’s Men, ratfucker was Nixon’s term for a political operative who sows chaos among opponents; an agent provocateur. It is thought to have originated among campus political rivalries at USC, and seems to have some usage in the US military.
Along with Nixon’s other ratfuckers, Roger Stone caused fights at otherwise peaceful Democratic Party protests to generate a false narrative that the Democrats were violent and dangerous.
