A person who will repeatedly share political posts on their social media accounts. They will sometimes do this so much that they end up representing a simple-minded, singular-task bot, who's goal would be to repost as much as possible. Usually found on Instagram stories, Facebook, or the retweet feed of Twitter.

Emma, a white, teenage girl that goes to our school, posted 32 Instagram stories in 24 hours about disbanding the police and Black Lives Matter yesterday. She is such a polbot.

A form of bait designed specifically for political purposes, extremely common in online political communities. Polbait is the engine of polarization, the fuel of culture wars, the reason political discourse is now a combat sport.
