(pronounced: nEktz dEH-coh)

/noun/ 1. A sub-genre of jazz music characterized by big band swing, Latin, funk, pop and R&B influences. Similar to neo soul, but with deeper roots in Great American Songbook music than classic hip hop. A blend of musical styles that is at once very elegant and cutting edge.
