Neoscona oxacensis is an orb weaving breed of spider that can be found in many of the southern states and in secluded areas during the night...They make the classical orb shaped web at night and when morning comes around they take thier web down and crawl into a nearby hole or crack (usually found in and around nearby barns, hence the common name "barn spider") the spider will usually put up its web in the same spot each night depending on wheather or not he had distractions the night before. These spiders, like many others, can be found in secluded areas with many trees around it.
