To be defeated in a hand of poker, either by luck or skill. For an official milping to be registered, it must be discreetly video recorded (or at a filmed table) and announced aloud after the hand, to clearly let the opponent know that he has been milled, big time. Contrary to most showboating, gloating, and jackassery following a poker win (e.g., SHIP IT), the Milper must balance with an otherwise humble attitude and love for the game. He must also announce when he has been milled.
Oh man...7-9 is my favorite hand. You just got milped, big time.

You think me an old fogeyand an old tory, his thoughtful voice said. I saw three generations since O’Connel’s time. I remember the famine. Do you know that the orange lodges agitated for repeal of the union twenty years before O’Connel did or before the prelates of your communion denounced him as a demagogue?
