then why did your eyes undress me
before your hands ever dared to?

Why did the silence between us
feel louder than anything spoken?

You never touched me—
but my body remembers you
like you already had.
Like it’s still aching for something
that never got the chance to happen.

I’ve never begged.
And I’m not starting now.

But if even a flicker of you
still wants to taste what you only stared at…
then stop hiding behind quiet.

Distance was never the real space between us.
Fear was.

if you ever wanted me in all the ways
your eyes said but your mouth never did…
then come claim what’s waited long enough.
