Instead of correctly expressing his disbelief as "dumbfounded," the less than intelligent interviewee used the term "dumbfoiled," giving added evidence that his claim (the yuletide log resembled an actual fire) was completely ridiculous.
Ed Robinson: "The children come running down the stairs yelling 'Fire! Fire! Fire!' so, we all looked at each other dumbfoiled."
