Burning the Paint

means to smoke the roach of a blunt. Originates from three high schooler's in Oakland who put the roach into the window of a hotwheels car, and smoked the roach by inhaling through the other window. This "burned the paint" on the top of the car, hence the saying.

stoner #1: yo bruh do you throw away the roach when you're almost burning yo fingers?

stoner #2: nah man that's a waste of weed, I stay burning the paint.

basically can mean smoking a roach. some refer to it only as smoking a roach through a hotwheels car. supposedly started by three kids in oakland

Guy 1: "hey man the roach is almost gone"
Guy 2 : "stay burnin the paint my nigga"
