bluesday tuesday

A weekly occurrence meant to be celebrated on Wednesdays only. Participants must dress in outfits that are either fully or mostly blue in color. Though it is named after a Tuesday, the event occurs on a Wednesday to acknowledge the accomplishment of making it half way through the week, and thus surviving the beginning-of-the-week-blues that are typically associated with a Tuesday.

I think I will treat myself to the comfort of my favorite sweater and jeans on bluesday tuesday. That way, the week will become just a little bit more bearable...

Blueshark

Stereotypical jock or football player type. Into all things sports, and not much else. Attracted to skinny, fake tanned (to the point of being orange) blondes with a greater focus on breast size than personality. Bluesharks often feel threatened by people smarter than themselves, especially in groups conversing. If in such a situation, it is common for a Blueshark to yell something along the lines of "Yeah, Footie!", in a feeble attempt to join the conversation.

Person1: Great party, huh?
Person2: Meh, I wish they'd turn the music down and put the footy on.
Person1: Dude, you're such a Blueshark!

The term given to a given a New South Welshman living in Queensland. He is passionate about his rugby league and staunch in his support for the New South Wales Blues during State of Origin Time every year..The Queenslander is his most hated enemy.

"That bloody Blueslander wish he'd piss off back to New South Wales", screaming "BLUESLANDER" at the television during the big game upsetting those Queenslanders sat with him.

The act of (3 or more) total strangers in a guitar store exchanging tasty blues licks from across the room at a volume much louder than it should be.

Dude I was just at Guitar Center and me and these three guys got in a total Blueskakke. We left that place covered in our piping hot jazz.
