Corporatized

A state of being absorbed into a structured, profit-driven system of daily routines and responsibilities — such as the 9-to-5 job, scheduled gym visits, bill payments, and consumer habits — under the guise of a “normal” life. It reflects a lifestyle shaped and sustained by corporate and economic systems that prioritize productivity and control over individual purpose or freedom. To be corporatized is to unconsciously participate in a cycle that enriches those at the top, while fear of instability or failure discourages deviation from the system.
“The corporatized structure of modern society discourages risk-taking and self-exploration, conditioning individuals to equate stability with routine compliance rather than personal fulfillment.”

“He didn’t realize how corporatized his life had become until he took a week off — no alarms, no meetings, no rush hour — and felt, for the first time in years, actually human.”
