Boomerty

The period of life when a person will undergo physical signs of age (forehead wrinkles, beer gut, thick forearms, etc.)
This is usually accompanied by taking enjoyment in chores or saying things that you do not realize is either backhanded, belittling, or racially charged.

Boomerty

📘 Word: Boomerty
📖 Definition:

> A tragic, often irreversible mental shift where someone starts acting like a judgmental, outdated "boomer" — not because of age, but because of life failures, trauma, or giving up on themselves.

It’s not about being old — it’s when someone stops focusing on fixing their own life and starts obsessing over others, becoming hypocritical, controlling, or bitter.

Usually hits after 30, but some unlucky souls catch early Boomerty due to pressure, childhood trauma, or emotional burnout.

Signs:
– Talking like everyone's beneath them
– Giving advice they never followed
– Caring more about others’ choices than their own
– Replacing growth with gossip

Boomerty is puberty in reverse — instead of discovering yourself, you start losing yourself.
Example sentences:

“Damn, she used to be chill. Now all she talks about is how everyone else is wrong. She caught Boomerty.”

“You’re 24 and already acting like your uncle? Bro, that’s early Boomerty. Get help.”
