The Apple Display Connector was a proprietarded way for Apple to make the G4 Cube not have so many cables going from the computer to the display and keyboard. It combined USB, power and video into one cable.

Use this word when someone insults you for using open source software while they use or make proprietary software, acting like closed, corporate tools are automatically superior. It calls out that smug "locked-in but proud of it" attitude.

Person 1: Hey, you're a freetard for playing Luanti instead of OG Minecraft.

Person 2: It's my freedom of choice. Go away, proprietard.
