Russian and original way to describe hikikomori of 19th century, first coined by Dostoyevsky's fans. Living a depressing lifestyle after prolonged isolation (prison or home confinement) with constant self-doubts and inner incongruity with oneself; overly-analytical of oneself. Often a result of combined mental illnesses that include, but not limited to: anxiety disorder, bipolar disorder, paranoia, agoraphobia, obsessive-compulsive disorder.
—This guy's been living in his parents' basement for a year now, after he finally came out, he start to self-deprecate, reflect on life, being negative towards people and he never smiles again.
