antimetropia

A very rare vision condition in which one eye is severely nearsighted (myopic ) and the other eye severely farsighted (hyperopic). This causes amblyopia, the suppression of one eye by the brain causing monocular vision.
The optometrist has seen two cases of antimetropia, both resulted in amblyopia
