Having a general and innocent social curiosity, especially of the opposite sex, that is often mistaken to have ulterior meaning or mischievous context. Sometimes resulting in half the Internet being butthurt.

Some guy stated that his friends told him blood is an aphrodisiac and he asked the Internet out of Everhardtian curiosity and got destroyed for it.
