Nickelback

A derogatory term for homeless people who are too ashamed to look you in the face so they turn their backs towards you, but their sign is still showing saying "please spare a nickel."

So people start putting nickels in the top of their hoodie, and soon they become a NickelBack.

Damn, look at those nickelbacks lined up along the curb.
