taterpsychosis

a fragile, often violent psychological state brought on by the sudden absence or withdrawal of potato food products, such as fries, chips, etc.

An international incident was started with the country of Serbia because a waiter attempted to remove a boy's plate of fries before he was finished. The resulting carnage can only be attributed to taterpsychosis.
