The McNab is a great herding dog that not many people know about. It was bred in CA made to withstand heat, mountains, and burrs like in CA. They remind me of BC but have short fur and their ears are triangles that stand up. They are very active but a bit less intense compared to the border collie. They are a medium sized breed and can be anywhere from 30 lbs to 70 lbs. they come in a few different colors but always short fur. They make great watch dogs because they are very protective but also vet friendly, obedient, and trainable. They would love to cuddle up on the couch, swim in a lake, or take a hike in the forest. Overall, amazing companion.
Person 1: Hey dude what kind of dog is that?! He looks like a border collie but with short fur.

Person 2: oh he’s a McNab! Great dog!! Not many people know about them because they aren’t registered by the AKC

Person 1: oh cool man! Tell me more about them!

Person 2: alright!
