ghetto slang for a gay/homosexual man. literally: queer. not related to punk rock music. this is no disrespect to punk rock, i dont know how this usage came about.

"is that a chick?" "nah man, thats that punk."
"he got aids" "yeah?" "yeah, he a punk."
