The nickname that a sweet and kind person is bestowed apon by their parents. Though odd and possibly insecurity-binding the person, its cute and nothing to worry about.

"I heard his mom call him 'Rooney' the other day."
"'Rooney'? Thats so cute! How could anyone not fall for him?"
