Streamularity

Streaming + singularity. A hypothetical point in time when subscriber fees for streaming services become so high that consumers cancel subscriptions at a large enough scale to potentially end subscription-based, ad-free streaming services.

Once we reach the streamularity, the vast majority of streaming companies will need to either subsidize streaming with advertising or other sources of income or eliminate streaming altogether.
