1: An extremely unlikeable place
2: A place full of fire and sulfur, possibly filled with demons and other unholy creatures

1: "Jon Stewart: Sam, what is going on behind you?" "Samantha Bee: Oh? Oh, that... That's just the Escher-like hellscape that is McCain Headquarters."
2: "Holy Knight: That's it men! Beat them back into the Hellscape!"
