n. /ˈfɔɫ/ A false, not true, statement. Short for "falsehood." Skips all the standard manipulator's bullshit of determining if it is technically a "lie" or not legally. Intent and foreknowledge is meaningless. All that matters is that it isn't true.

Politician lawyer: "The sky is green. This technically isn't a lie if I don't know the truth, or aren't trying to deceive, or don't know better, or someone else told me that was true, or if I don't care if you believe it."

Normal human: "STFU. It's a fal. And it's not my burden to prove your intent, knowledge, or failure to verify. Fuck your word games."
