A Hateriot is derived from Patriot + Hate. This would be a Trumper or someone who brandishes the Confederate flag while swarming a peaceful protest to harass and threaten peaceful protesters who are typically protesting for equality, the end of police brutality, or the removal of a Confederate monument. When these Hateriots show up to harm or intimidate protesters, they are usually traveling in large groups of Caucasians, wearing body armor and AR15s, and shouting racial epithets.
A Hateriot showed up at the silent memorial for Black lives and started screaming "Trump 2020," "All lives matter," and "If you don't like it, go back to your own country."
