A bourgeois delicacy enjoyed predominantly by the aristocracy. Chaps would extract the seeds from a pomegranate and position some in a line. Chaps would then move ones mouth over the line whilst inhaling or snouting sharply. The combined effect of the seeds hitting the pallet and the glorious taste is truely delightful.
"Say Hector, did you hear about that devil William... He snouted a line of no fewer than 35 pomegranate seeds!!"
