bum puffing

To inhale a cigarette/marijuana joint in an incorrect fashion thus preventing the intake of smoke in the smoker's lungs reducing the effect of euphoria recieved from smoking.

Joe: Can I have a cigarette?
Martha: No, You'll just bum puff it and waste it.
(bum puffing)
