The exaggerated hype, or excessive promotion of an event (be it social or otherwise) that has been planned, but not yet happened.
"I would be greatfull if you would stop themeparking the party next saturday. you'll only be disappointed if it's not as good as you've said it'll be". (or) "This wedding has been themeparked out of all proportion"!
