Stands for "modified mullet".

This unisex shag was made famous by Jane Fonda in the 1971 epic Klute. Also alternately known as the “the Klute Kut" or “hipster shag”.

No cut will offer you better cover among a roomful of rock & roll fashion victims.

The mod-mull is quite simply the haircut the refused to die.
