1. When someone has lost/broken their opium lamp and is reduced to trying to vaporize opium with a normal lighter. (Usage most normally includes the process of getting high as well as the events leading thereto.)

2. When someone uses fire/a lighter as a means to a (drug related) end.

She took out her lighter and Shiva'd the heroin.
