Doesn't necessarily have to have insectoid traits to be considered an insectaur. Examples of insectaurs in fiction include Dungeons and Dragons' species of the same name, Red from the NES Godzilla Creepypasta, and Kromer from Limbus Company.
The designer struggled to come up with a concept sketch for the insectaur being featured in the horror game.
