V. The past tense version of "Thiser". A slight breath or puff of air exhaled from the mouth through slightly opened teeth producing a "T" sound in a smiling fashion. Used as a substitution for a laugh.

So that he wouldn't bother those around him with loud laughter, he thissered to himself.
