Lexiloopism
A mental phenomenon where a person gets unusually attached to a specific word or phrase and repeatedly thinks about it, says it, or replays it in their mind because it feels satisfying, funny, or interesting. Most common in childhood, but can happen at any age. It’s not distressing, more like a “word stuck in your head” loop that feels enjoyable.
When I was a kid, I kept repeating random words like ‘potato’ and ‘banana’ all day. Total lexiloopism
