A couch, sofa, or davenport.

A long seat, usually with a cushioned bottom, back, and arm-rests.

A near-forgotten term as it was primarily used in the 1950s and 1960s. Your grandma probably says it, like mine does.

I left a throw blanket on the daveneaux.
